Offshore platforms and oil and gas fields present complex operating conditions; power outages, salt spray corrosion, and explosion-proof requirements often make it difficult for electronic recorders to function properly. The DEWIT 12-inch mechanical circular chart recorder is the ideal device for pressure testing and monitoring in such environments.
This device does not require an external power source; it has built-in pressure sensing elements, and it comes with either a spring-driven or battery-powered mechanism, allowing it to perform stable recordings even in areas without electricity, such as in offshore locations. It is available with an AISI316 stainless steel casing and a PELI-rated waterproof enclosure, and it boasts ATEX explosion-proof certification, which protects it from marine salt spray and hazardous flammable environments.
The recorder features a large 12-inch display screen with an accuracy of ±0.5%. Its pressure measurement range spans from 0–1 bar to 4000 bar, enabling simultaneous recording of both pressure and temperature data.
