Those who work on electrical testing and relay protection are well aware that while electronic data can be exported for fault recording, power quality assessment, transformer temperature testing, and inspection of switchgear, it is still the physical paper sheets that can be archived that are accepted by dispatching departments and safety oversight agencies. HIOKI’s recorders and waveform recorders are widely used in power systems and research institutions; however, the types of consumables required are quite specific: the 8860-50/8861-50 and 8847 Memory HiCorder models require 9231 paper, while the MR8880-20 and MR9000 models need 9234 waveform paper. The 8205-10/8206-10 data recorders use 9235 paper, and the 8807/8808/8420s models require 9234 paper as well. The 3195/3196, 8710/8801–8855 series use 9221 paper, while the 8825/8826 laboratory recorders require 9229 and 9229-01 paper. The 3165/3191 models use 9223 paper, and the 3234 model requires 9227 paper. The flat-sheet recorder FBR-251A comes with SG-10X roll paper and SG-10Z foldable paper, along with red FB-1RD, green FB-2GN, and blue FB-3BE printing heads.
